BK Renovations is a licensed general contractor based in San Diego, owned and run by Austin Jones. We remodel homes across Southern California. Kitchens, bathrooms, whole-home renovations, and everything in between.
We're not the biggest outfit in town, and that's on purpose. We take on a handful of projects at a time so every client gets real attention and every detail gets done right. When you hire us, you work with the people actually doing the work.
Most of our jobs come from referrals and repeat clients. That only happens one way: by doing great work and treating people the way we'd want to be treated.
How We Price
The estimate is the whole story.
Most remodel horror stories come down to one thing: the price wasn't honest. A contractor wins the job with a low number, then earns it back with change orders once the kitchen is already torn apart.
We do the opposite. Before any work starts, we lay out the price and the full scope of work, all of it explained. You'll know exactly what you're paying for and why we spec'd it that way.
We price it right the first time and hold to it. If the scope genuinely changes, something we find once a wall is open, or a choice you decide to make, we tell you what it costs and you approve it in writing before we go further. That's the only way the number moves.
